Did you know goldfish have a memory span longer than we think? At ONE Intervention Centre, we turned this fun fact into an unforgettable science adventure for our young learners!
Last Friday, 21 February, our young learners embarked on an interactive journey into biology. With eager minds and excited faces, they took part in a unique investigative adventure—using a simple tank of goldfish.
Learning Through Exploration
Guided by our teachers, the children explored the anatomy of their goldfish friends. With patience and encouragement, they identified scales, fins, and tails, transforming passive observation into an engaging, hands-on lesson.
But the excitement didn’t stop there! The children were given green nets to carefully scoop up the goldfish and transfer them to a smaller tank. Their laughter filled the room as they worked together, making learning an enjoyable and interactive experience.
More Than Just Science
Beyond science, this lesson instilled values of empathy and responsibility. The children learned the importance of treating living creatures with care and respect—a lesson that will stay with them far beyond the classroom.

- Living things need air, food, and water and it WILL DIE.
